Ebony and Ivory Reptile Visit

We had a wonderful and special visit to our little sprouts group this week from Ebony and Ivory Reptiles. Ebony and Ivory Reptiles is a local company in the Reno/Tahoe area specializing in a variety of reptile wonders. Our little one’s favorite was, well, all of them.

Seeing firsthand reptiles made the introduction to our Reptile and Amphibian study a huge success. There is something special about seeing snakes and some cool lizards up close. To touch and describe what you feel in comparison to reading about it, I highly recommend this approach!

Matt is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his reptile friends. His Blue Tegu Sven was a huge excitement despite his chill personality.

We of course finished the day off with a quick shake of the sillies and a snake making craft session.

Air-dry clay with some dried florals to decorate, and oh don’t forget the pinecones and bubble wrap to make the scales! Our little ones had the best time carving and sculpting, and they all turned out great!
